Visionary Collective presents
Envision Salons: Afro-Caribbean Revolutions
This evening celebrates the creative power of the Afro-Caribbean diaspora through music, storytelling, and artistic fellowship.
The night features theater-maker Jewels Galindo worksharing his new play Niños, exploring an Afro-Caribbean family from Harlem on their journey to redefine family. Host Abel Santiago will DJ the evening, musically curating tributes to Black artists throughout the diaspora with Afro-Caribbean, Soul, R&B, House, and Hip Hop.
Following the featured presentations, we'll open the floor for community work-sharing where you can plug in and share your own works-in-progress. Bring your curiosity, joy, and creative works in development as we connect and celebrate our artistic processes together.
