UPCOMING EVENTS
Our 6th annual Juneteenth project commemorates the legacy of Black liberation and artistic expression with a series of free, open-to-the-public performances commissioned by The Flea and curated by Artistic Director, Niegel Smith.
Each performance is a “blink-and-you’ll-miss-it” experience of watching an artist in relationship with their environment. These works invite audiences into journeys shaped by joy, hope, queerness, resistance, and collective freedom.

HANG TIME
This August, join The Flea Theater in Edinburgh as HANG TIME makes its international debut at the Edinburgh International Festival. Led by Artistic Director Niegel Smith, this intimate trip offers behind-the-scenes access to the production alongside curated cultural outings, shared meals, and time to experience Scotland during one of the world’s most celebrated arts festivals. A rare chance to travel with The Flea for a landmark moment in the life of the company.
