Set in a magical Library where the world’s only book each year is written, the piece follows a young Apprentice determined to write the perfect story and prove herself. She must contend with the Writer, who controls all published stories; the Librarian, who enforces the system; and the Guardian, a loyal keeper of the Library with dreams of changing its broken rules. With original pop music and commercial dance, the show creates a fantastical yet deeply human story about who gets to define “the perfect story.”
