Iman Louis-Jeune

Assistant Production Manager

Iman Louis-Jeune (she/her/hers) is a Brooklyn-based interdisciplinary artist and curator with over eight years of technical experience. Pulling from her Caribbean heritage and diverse religious upbringing, she’s interested in the creation and facilitation of making cathartic and impactful work.

As a curator and production manager, Iman founded a dance + somatic movement + film festival, Essence of Embodiment, as part of SMUSH Gallery’s Curatorial Fellowship in Dance ’20-’21 centered around processing trauma and making a framework for joy. She’s had the opportunity to work with: ZCO/Dance Project, Owning Dissonance Collective, AfroFlow Yoga, The Chelsea Factory, Telluride Film Festival, Womanimation Festival, LMCC, TBWA \ Chiat \ Day NY all in a production management, operations, and lighting design capacity.
