Chicava Honeychild

Chicava Honeychild (Guest Artist) is the creator of Sacred Burlesque a live and soon to be online burlesque class that blends together sultry burlesque movements with yoni exercises, kundalini yoga and energy healing. She is the proprietress of New York City’s Brown Girls Burlesque and lead teacher of The Broad Squad Institute. As an artist in residence at Joe’s Pub at the Public Theater she produces a live blues & jazz burlesque revue called The Dirty Honey Shake.

She received her MFA in Interdisciplinary Art from Goddard College her areas of interest being performance art, women of color in burlesque heritage, and sacred sexuality and spirituality.
